We decided for our Family reunion camping extravaganza, that we would go camping in Spanish Fork Canyon. It was really quite beautiful, and pretty much a central location for everyone. The Canyon was called Diamond Fork Canyon, and we've driven by the turn-off countless times, but never went up. We had heard that there were some hot springs up there, and so most of us brought swim suits. We hiked up there on Saturday afternoon, between rain storms. It was a much longer hike than we had planned for, and we didn't plan too well, because we forgot to bring water! Luckily Daniel and Jonathan decided to grab some last minute, after they had parked the cars. We didn't have water, but we had flipflops, and water shoes, and some towels, and those are the things we deemed unnecessary, after the first hour of hiking!!
Everyone did a great job hiking, and no one really complained (except for me, in my head!!... wHERE OH WHERE IS THIS PLACE?? wHY DIDN'T i BRING WATER?? dO I REALLY HAVE TO CARRY ALL THESE THINGS?? wHY DID I BRING A JACKET?? iT WAS RAINING, BUT NOW IT'S NOT, AND i'M HOT!!... aren't you glad you weren't in my head?

Taking a break, we didn't take too many, and Dan some how caught up to us! Which I was grateful for!! He could carry the bag! And he had water!! Double bonus!!

The rock formations were amazing, made me wish I knew a little more about Geology!

The hot springs were...smelly! and hot! and relaxing! I'm glad we made the hike!!

We had a good time!!
