The next day!

So, the next day was Friday, Daniel took the day off and joined us! We started with the West Jordan Temple.
Then we moved on the the Oquirrh Mountain Temple! Where we saw a family all wearing the same shirts, they were having a family reunion, driving around, getting out, and touching the temples, so that "the temples will touch them!" They were fun to watch! We also saw another family at the Brigham City Temple, who said they were from Idaho, and they were doing the same things as we were! I think it is so amazing that the teens can go to the temple any time! I know we could only go with our ward!
Next was the Draper Temple! I saw Cathy Aiken in there (an old KSL Sports Reporter)!
We then drove to the Mount Timpanogos Temple!
The Mount Timpanogos Temple was super duper busy! I did initatories and still was able to come back and watch the kids do baptisms. Daniel did the Baptisms.
By the time we got out, it was pretty late, and we hadn't even taken time to eat, so we decided to go and have some dinner. Everyone was done with having their pictures take, but I had to snap a couple any way! By the time we were done with dinner, it was to late to go to Provo, so we decided to wait for that one for another day!
It was so neat to be able to go to 7 different temples in 2 days! We are so blessed to be able to be so close, and to have such beautiful temples to be able to go in and do work for those who have gone on before! I am so grateful for temples, for the gospel of Jesus Christ, and for my family, and that I'll be able to live with them forever!!

Playing Catch up!

It's been a while since I've posted, so we are going to play catch up! Jocelynn's 12th Birthday fell right in the middle of our Spring Break, so we decided we would start a Temple Tour of Utah, and we made it our goal to visit all of the Temples in Utah, before Kate starts College! First up was the Logan Temple!. We drove up to Logan Wednesday night, ate at Maddox (YUM!) and stayed in a hotel in Logan, where we did some swimming, and some watching of Psych! It was the series finale episode! We didn't even know! The next morning we got up and Joce opened her presents and we went to breakfast in the motel.
When we finished doing baptisms, we came out and it was snowing!
Next up was the Brigham City Temple. We had made an appointment, and they were so kind! It was so beautiful. I watched them do baptisms. I did Initatories in Logan.
As you can see the weather still wasn't great!
We then drove to Ogden and drove by the Ogden Temple, it was closed for renovations. We will have to get to that one later!
Next up was Bountiful! Across the street from the Bountiful Temple, someone has provided a portal for Dr. Who!
We then finished up the day by going to the Salt Lake City Temple!
It was a wonderful day and we are so glad that Jocelynn is 12!
We love to see the Temples and we love to be inside them!

Naps, mustaches, and a bike!

Sometimes I think Kate is studying, and then I'll see, that she is studying the back of her eyelids!
I just discovered washi tape, and I think it's great, Afton thinks it's great too!
So does Dylan!
Let's not forget Jocelynn!
Kate saw a bike on sale at Wal-Mart, and had to get it, since she won't be taking a car to College. She bought it! It's so cute!

Choir and Debate

Kate has been part of the Show Choir for the last couple of years! She's been the accompaniest, and also gets to sing her little heart out! It was fun to go and watch the choir compete in region! They did a great job and had the opportunity to compete at State!
Our house in all it's Spring glory!
Afton has been on the debate team! She's been doing Oratory and Public Forum Debate. I was asked to help as a judge, and was able to snag a couple of pictures! So fun!
