HaPpY HaPpY BiRtHdAy GrAndPaW!!

We want to give a shout out to Grandpaw! Yes, that's Grandpaw with a W, not sure exactly what it stands for except for maybe wonderful!

Dylan loves to play checkers with you! And Jocelynn says you tell great stories!

Afton says she loves the way you tease her, and Kate says you wouldn't be you without your hat and your KB cup (she likes that, since she is KB)

Daniel and Sarah say thanks for being so handy, and teaching your son some things!

And we all say thanks for being such a great example, for being there on the most important days, sharing your testimony...

WE LOVE YOU VERY MUCH!!

Ok, I know it's been a reallllly long time, but today I was blog hopping, to blogs of people I know, and I found out that I am not the only one, which makes me feel a whole lot better!

Many things have happened this past year... For one thing, Kate did hang up her soccer cleats, for basketball shoes, until...she didn't make the high school basketball team. She did give it her all, and she learned a lot, and has now decided to try and make the high school soccer team! Tryouts are in two weeks, maybe I'll be better and let you know if she makes it or not, maybe I won't.

Dylan was in the GT Challenge Shakespeare play at the end of March (as an understudy for the 6th grade play) and the main role in a readers theatre about Pompei (for the 5th grade performance). He was really excited...and wanted someone to be sick or something so he could "fill" in for the 6th grade play, unfortunately for him, that didn't happen. He did get to dance and be in a few scenes, and he was just so cute, as always! There were a few pics of the performances.

The Best Family Vacation EVER!!!

My mom told me I needed a new hobby, so i decided to blog about our vacation!!! But i did it backwords...im sure I will get it right next time. But i hope you enjoy :) (This is Kate, by the way)

After Canyonlands, we went to our cabin!!! We love going to the cabin!!! But this time we didn't just relax, we also fenced!! Our dad taught us how!!

Again, more climbing!!!

Doesnt it look like Dylan jumped off?????? Dont worry..he's fine :) haha

On the way to Cedar City we stopped at Canyonlands, but we didnt stay too long because we were all SOOO tired!! We had a lot of late nights and early mornings :)

On Wednesday we went white water river rafting!! It was really fun!!! We all had a blast! I deffinitely want to go again soon!

On Tuesday night, Dylan had lots of stomach aches, that really hurt him!! They hurt him so bad that my parents took him to the ER. But everything was okay, Dylan just threw up.

My favorite part was climbing all of the rocks!!!

Next we headed back to Utah, to Moab! While we were there we stayed at a condo, it was really nice! After a good nights sleep we went to Arches National Park!! It was A*M*A*Z*I*N*G!! The first thing we did was hike to Delicate Arch. It was in the morning, but it was really hot!!! But we made it through!!!

This was the first hike we went on, we went to see Long House.

Then we finally got to Cortez and stayed in a hotel for the night. The next morning we got up early and left for Mese Verde! It was SO pretty up there!!! We went on a bunch of hikes and overlooks.

Then we stopped at Four Corners. It was our first time going there.

I thought this car was really cool! It has all kinds of different license plates on it! :)

We saw this sign and followed it, then we saw this:

Here's Jocelynn by Mater :)

In June our family went to all sorts of places for our summer vacation. We started out staying the night at Nana's house, Thanks Nana!!! Then we headed out for Cortez Colorado, on the way there we saw a place called Hole N' The Rock. My mom really wanted to check it out, so we pulled over and went inside. We couldn't take any pictures inside when we took the 12 minute tour. These people named Albert and Gladys built their home inside this rock. We took a tour of their house, it was interesting, but I don't think we are ever going to go back. If you ever go there, just go to the right of the house and you will ll find all of the things we saw. Including the things we saw that we took pictures of. (above)
