This little girl LOVES lollipops! It was on her wish list at Christmas, it's her email address, it's all she talks about some days, so when we saw a projects on Science Buddies, about lollipops, I knew we had a winner!
Her projects was making suckers, and seeing if you could make suckers without using corn syrup, and just lain sugar.
After some experimenting (including a burnt batch, a mistake that turned out to be a good thing) we determined you can!
And then we really did have a winner!
Oops! That picture is supposed to be of her holding her blue ribbon! She won first place! That's as far as 4th graders can go, at our school. I wonder what my lollipop girl will love next year... hopefully something we can learn more about and make another awesome science fair project!
