It was MOVE IN day!

The girls' rooms are finally finished! Daniel has worked really hard for the last 5 months, remodeling Afton's old room, and finishing the other room for Kate. You no longer walk through their bedrooms to go to the bathroom, and the carpet is no longer red, the closet actually has real shelves, and you can actually move their beds around! It looks really great and the girls are so excited to move in! This is Afton's room!

Can you believe that? Joss woke up Monday morning with a big black eye, or purple eye, as it was in her case! I went to pay my friend for piano lessons, and Jocelynn decided to tag along, she ended up playing with her friend on the trampoline, while we were visiting. Later, we could hear some crying, but neither one of us worried very much, knowing what drama queens they both are, and then the next morning, she woke up with that! It looked so scary, her eye was so swollen! Hopefully it will be gone before our final days in San Diego, so we can get some good pics! If not we'll always remember who'd been a cruisin' for a bruisin'!

Wednesday, was the annual dance festival at the elementary school. Each year the teachers teach the kids a dance, and then we all meet out on the playground and watch em show us their stuff! This year the first grade danced to "Who's Afraid of the Big Bad Wolf", Jocelynn did a great job showing us her attitude. Dylan, and the third grade danced to "Cotton Eye Joe", and Afton came down to defend us from aliens, and danced to "Men in Black" with the other 5th graders! I'm glad they have this fun tradition at our school. Kate was disappointed she couldn't watch, but in one of her classes she actually had work to do!
